About Alteration
“You think you’re certain you’re awake, but perhaps you’re still dreaming.”
Alteration is a first-person narrative experience that blends psychological horror, science fiction, and metaphysical mystery.
You wake somewhere that shouldn’t exist. The walls hum. The air tastes like metal. Time doesn’t move right, it stutters, like a bad film reel burning in the projector. Things shift when you’re not looking. Objects fade, then come back wrong. And when you think you’re alone, you feel it, something just behind you, breathing in sync with yours. You never see it clearly. You don’t need to. Deep down, you know this place remembers you… and so does whatever’s still here.
As you move through laboratories, temples, and desolate ruins beneath an eternal eclipse, you begin to piece together fragments of a greater design, one that questions the boundary between the human and the divine.
Alteration is not a story to be told, but one to be experienced and interpreted. Every sound, every word, and every illusion carries meaning. The deeper you descend, the more the world reshapes itself around what you believe to be true.
A cinematic, symbolic, and haunting journey about perception, reality, and the terrifying clarity of awakening.
