About Anarchy Legends Online

Anarchy Legends Online (ALO) was a free-to-play multiplayer tactical third-person shooter developed by Diat Funa, a solo developer inspired by classic competitive multiplayer games that emphasized team-based tactics and true individual skill.

At launch, ALO featured 24 playable characters known as Legends, each with a unique ability, 41 weapons, 4 maps, and 10 game modes. Every aspect of the game was carefully balanced and constantly monitored to prevent exploits or unfair advantages.

Anarchy Legends Online offered 12-player online battles where everyone started on an even playing field: there were no RNG elements, equipment advantages, or perks that favored veteran players.

In each game mode, players could choose a Legend and two weapons before respawning. There were no loot boxes or chance-based systems: ALO was built entirely around skill, experience, and teamwork.

To enhance authenticity, most headshots were one-hit kills, a ping system allowed for team communication, and there were two separate experience/ranking systems, one of which was skill-based and could go up or down depending on performance.

Like many modern games, the more players played, the more they could unlock cosmetic skins for weapons and Legends. Unlike many modern games, however, ALO never included any pay-to-win elements.

After five years of development in the developer’s free time, the game was officially shut down.
