About Around the Block
Select from a wide variety of building types to develop your island. Each building has its own area of effect and can either boost or negatively affect the scores of other buildings in that area. The total score of all the buildings on your island will affect how much currency you receive each turn. Currency can then be used to buy more buildings.
Strategically place buildings next to each for a bigger score boost. A bigger score means more currency. More currency means you can buy more buildings.
Strategize -> Place Buildings -> Boost Score -> Collect Currency -> Repeat
