There's a long startup with the game sitting at the splash screen for a while. After that it's normal. The menus load fine but even at 1080p low with the resolution modifier at 50% the game is unplayable due to the super low frame rate (slideshow). I ended up having to kill the game both times I tried to play just to close it.
