Basically I wanted to make something like Warlords Battlecry III but without the basebuilding, as I never found that particularly exciting. i.e. you

Choose on the map where you want to go, and once you're there
You hire troops with your gold or select those you already have in your retinue, I believe those that don't enter the map become fully rested.
OK then with the troops you enter a map, fulfil the maps objective and then claim the reward and gear and gold.
Once a troop member has enough XP they will increase a level, where they become fully healed and stronger, you can equip a member with some gear eg better weapon/armour or charm

Controlled with the mouse
and WASD (QE)

Each map has an objective, the objective is one of the following

• Kill everyone
• Peregrination
• Fetch
• Assassinate
• Survive
• Collect Stuff
• Protection
• Destroy
• Guide
