Atomcraft

Atomcraft is a game where you can pick up and place every pixel of the environment. Pixels react to whatever is around them, and you can build vessels to make chemical reactions happen.

In the beginning your spaceship crashes onto a planet and you have to gather materials to repair it by making acid and breaking down ores. Using chemical reactions to separate out oxygen and hydrogen gas, and cooling it into liquid form, you will soon create rocket fuel and be able to fly from planet to planet in your repaired spaceship.

The planets of the solar system have different materials, including pixelated plants and creatures. Only by traveling to all of them and using various chemical processes can you discover every element of the periodic table. Ultimately, you discover nuclear materials and refine fuel for deep space travel beyond the reaches of the solar system.
