About Chess Empire
Chess Empire is a tactical twist on chess where you earn gold, buy new pieces and upgrades, and have to reveal the fog of war to see your enemies.
The core rules are familiar-you command the classic board and pieces-but now every turn earns you gold: 1 for moving, 2 for captures, and 3 for taking down upgraded pieces. Spend it in the shop to recruit new units or unlock powerful upgrades that transform how pieces play.
Fog of war hides anything outside the vision range of your farthest pieces, making information as valuable as material. Position smartly, scout aggressively, and strike when your opponent is blind.
Upgrade your army to unleash unique abilities:
- Promoted Pawns – Attack forward as well as diagonally.
- Bishops – Fire arrows to capture from range.
- Knights – Strike any tile exactly two spaces away and see farther than most units.
- Rooks – Hit two enemies in a line.
- Queens – Unleash a 1-tile radius AoE, wiping out clusters in one strike.
Key Features
- Gold-Based Economy – Plan your spending between units and upgrades.
- Unique Unit Powers – Transform the battlefield with ranged, AoE, and vision bonuses.
- Fog of War – Ambush and outmaneuver your opponent through controlled vision.
Think faster, see farther, and build the ultimate army.
