Dolven

Dolven is a bold fusion of tactical RPG combat and card-combo strategy set in a fantasy world teetering on the brink of darkness. Command a band of mercenaries, harness the power of ancient runes, and battle your enemies on a dynamic, grid-based battlefield where every move—and every card—counts.

At the heart of Dolven lies a unique combat system that blends classic deck-building with the thrill of poker-style hand formation making it a first of its kind the genre of deckbuilders.

Card battles include hand-to-hand combat and the cards provide characters with additional skills. What sets Dolven apart is its innovative and strategic card play mechanics, which add a touch of nostalgia by incorporating elements of classic poker.

Players form hand combos, such as pairs, doubles, straight flushes, and flushes, to earn mana bonus's and also add to the players overall point score on the leader board.

Each character in Dolven belongs to one of six distinct classes: Archer, Cleric, Guardian, Mage, Rogue, or Warrior. These classes are divided into three archetypes, Strength, Intelligence, and Dexterity each offering a unique set of skills and abilities to master.

Collect, create, and customize your deck.

Players construct a deck made up of two main card types:

• Mercenary Cards – Represent characters you can summon to the battlefield.
• Spell Cards – Cast magical effects, buffs, debuffs, or battlefield alterations.
• Each of the three cards are suited by color Red, Green and Blue. These colors represent their Archetype Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence.
• Arrange the Mercenary cards on the pillars to form hands like pairs, flushes, or straight flushes. The ingame Compendium lists all possible combo's and their rewards.

As you battle through the maze of dungeons, customize your deck to maximize your combat potential. Collecting gear and armouring up your characters is also important for when you face tougher enemies.

Can a father rewrite fate, or is he merely a piece in a god’s cruel design?
