In a ruined dystopia, reclaim hearts with a guitar

Once, humanity abandoned its bodies and chose mechanical shells, seeking eternal prosperity. It didn’t last. A runaway control system turned them into slaughter machines, and they became a threat to the few humans who stayed flesh.

Years passed. In the ruins, a lone girl found an instrument called a “guitar.”
It became the one hope to restore heart to the world.
She plays today as well—if only to drown out the worst of feelings.
