About Gran Theft Lure

Gran Theft Lure, or should we say Grand Theft Failure, is a 2D hand-drawn top-down arena shooter roguelite in which you must survive hordes of burglars for as long as you can. You play as your lovely gran, but age, it seems, has finally caught up with you, making you unable to kill your enemies directly with your weapons, as you were used to in your youth... In order to defeat the burglars, you must lure or push them into traps. May it be your electric fences all around your sweet garden, or the bear traps you’ve set around your beautiful flowers, or the hidden landmines that you’ve put in some of your fluffy bushes. "Can't be too careful kid", as my sweet gran used to say.

YOU ARE HOME ALONE.
  • Arena roguelike inspired by Brotato, and it combines Lost Potato & Home Alone vibes, with randomly generated levels and upgrades to choose from.
  • Push or lure your enemies into traps to kill them. (Electric fences, bear traps, landmines, ...).
  • 4 game modes, each with its own main weapon, its rules, as well as its own Steam Achievements, Steam Leaderboards, and seasonal color theme.
  • Fast & Addictive Runs: 3-5 minutes on average.
  • 21 unique outfits to unlock, each one gives you starting upgrades for your runs.
  • Supports Keyboard & Mouse but also Controllers.
  • There are also many accessibility options.
Accessibility options:
  • There are a lot of features that can be activated/deactivated like screenshake, hitstop, or some visual effects like particles, shadows, or the screen darkness effect after you take damage.
  • Also, if you’re left-handed I’ve got you covered: you can switch the left & right joysticks on your controller, or switch the left & right button on your mouse.
  • Finally, there are remappable controls.
