About Imagine Sisyphus Happy
“The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a human’s heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy.” – Albert Camus.
Sisyphus, king of Corinth, has tricked the Gods and Death. To punish him, the Gods condemned him to push a boulder uphill forever, only for it to roll back each time.
But Sisyphus didn't give up. He decided to livestream it.
Imagine Sisyphus Happy is a fast-paced clicker + QTE game about life, spectacle, and finding meaning in repetition. Roll your boulder, pull off stunts, and try to make the eternal grind worth living.
Push the boulder. Do tricks. Go live.
Progressing from Greek myth to the modern day, the story asks two simple questions:
- Aren’t you a Sisyphus too?
- Can you Imagine Sisyphus Happy?
Key features:
- Pushing your boulder for eternity
- Making tricks with a wild combo of Cliker and Quick-Time-Event
- Streaming your struggle and interacting with a live chat
- Going through the ages and modern scenarios, looking for your boulder to push
- Finding joy and happiness in a meaningless grind of life
Full release in Q1 2026 will have:
- More tricks, with trick chains and combos
- More relatable context, where you can find your very own boulder
- Large Quick-Time-Event variety, mimicking the contexts of the boulder you push
- A more realistic simulated streamer economy
