Explore the whole surface of the real Mars from the Valles Marineris, to Olympus Mons, and beyond. Extract minerals to build colonies, farms, mech factories, and animal pens across the Red Planet’s landscape. Manage your resources to transform them into a thriving automated colony.

When you have multiple colonies, link them together with high-speed trains and conveyor belts to transport colonists, supplies, and minerals across the Red Planet.

Fight For Your Survival

At night, Mars is infested with swarms of armored and venomous bugs that will seek to tear apart the colony you’ve built and reclaim their land. Deploy mechs, turrets, and automated defense drones, and unlock nuclear weapons for massive strikes that can wipe out entire swarms in one blast. Capture live bugs with harpoon launchers, and make them turn against their own kind.

Launch Expeditions and Expand

• EXPLORATION: Launch rovers and scout teams to map new colony sites for expansion and uncover hidden water ice and other surprises.
• BUG RAIDS: Organize squads to infiltrate bug nests and destroy nests at their source.
• MINING EXPEDITIONS: Send drilling rigs and mining crews to unearth rare ores and minerals that power your next era of advanced technologies.

Survive Natural Threats

Each region of Mars has its own dangers and rewards. Plant your flag in the deep canyons of Valles Marineris or defy death on Olympus Mons. Adapt your colony’s layout, defenses, and resource pipelines to volcanic slopes, rocky plains, or polar ice. Brace for dust storms that blackout your solar grids for many Sols, and nights so cold they could freeze your heater! Every location changes the rules of survival.

Progress Through Your Tech Tree

Specialize in one of three factions: Mining, Military, or Farming. Advance through multiple Ages, and watch your leadership shape your colony’s technology and the future of Mars. Will you become a mech commander, a mining tycoon, or an agricultural maestro?

Build Lasting Relationships

Each colonist is a unique individual with strengths, quirks, and a fully upgradeable skill tree. Over time they’ll chat, clash, or fall in love, raise families, and even have babies. Their relationships directly shape your colony’s morale, productivity, and chances of survival as the children grow up in the colony on Mars.
