You've been brought into The Abyss, a world of unexpected and eldritch proportions, The campfires will be your only saving grace amongst the horrors that exist here. The rules of the cycle remain a mystery to you. But you've been granted 3 chances. Use them to discover what your purpose is, through combat, notes left from previous cycles and overcoming the odds, you may just learn how to navigate the unknowable.

Recruit The Prophets

The ones known as Prophets are both your most valuable resource and your only source of comfort provided amongst the terrors. Prophets will teach you, help you gather resources, sell you useful items and stand side by side with you when you fight. But beware, because their deaths are permanent and so is the loss of their knowledge.

Prepare yourself

Not only mentally, But with the Prophets besides you, You'll need to also grow yourself. Scavenge resources, Craft Weapons, Armor, Potions, and various other useful items to be able to stand a chance against the brutal monstrosities when you.......

Face The Gauntlets

Your mind, body, and soul are to be tested. A twisted trial? A sickening form of entertainment? Or something more? It's unclear what The Abyss asks of you, But one thing is for sure. The only way forward is to battle the twisted monsters within the gauntlets, conquer this, and The Nine Prophets may just survive The Abyss.
