About Redemption: Under the Tide

This is a Lovecraftian visual novel where you play as a private detective—solving cases, exploring a decaying city, and uncovering truths long buried beneath the tide of time.

Set in an alternate 1920s, the story takes place in Blockwings—a coastal ruin of a city that should’ve been forgotten. But here, the past never truly dies. You’ve been invited to investigate a missing person case, only to find yourself ensnared in a web of lost memories, ancient cults, and a stranger who claims to know you.

Reality twists and warps as the tide rises. Will you fight against fate, or surrender to the sea?

Every Choice Matters

The protagonist has four unique attributes that evolve with your decisions. Each choice not only shapes the narrative but directly affects these stats, which in turn influence the story’s dialogue and events in real time. Your decisions create your experience.

Multi-Run Exploration

With six major endings planned, this game is built for multiple playthroughs. Even familiar scenes can unfold differently on each run, revealing new details and hidden threads waiting to be uncovered.

Dream and Reality Intertwined

Dreams hold deep meaning in Lovecraftian fiction. In this game, dreams and reality are told through distinct narrative styles and gameplay approaches, offering an immersive and surreal experience that blurs the line between what is and what should never be.
