About RemoteSpace: First Settlement

Story Background

You are an interstellar explorer, dispatched alone to a remote star system. Your official mission is clear: establish an orbital outpost and begin mining a rare superconductive mineral crucial to humanity’s future. But as you expand your operations and dig deeper into the system, strange anomalies begin to surface. Who—or what—left these traces behind? What forces are truly at play?

Beneath the silence of space, a larger struggle awaits discovery.

Gameplay Overview

This is a space strategy and simulation game with a strong focus on orbital mechanics. You will:

  • Scan and identify asteroids with varying mineral compositions
  • Harvest raw resources and refine them through in-space chemical processing
  • Construct and expand modular orbital infrastructure, from storage hubs to research stations
  • Master the physics of orbital maneuvers and manage limited delta-v and fuel efficiency to keep your operations sustainable

Experimental Combat Concept

An early prototype for orbital detection and interception is already in place. Future combat features—still under experimentation—will focus on beyond-visual-range engagements based on strategic orbital planning and delta-v management, rather than close-quarters action or reflex-based gameplay.

Localization

Experimental AI translations (de, es, pt, ja, fr, pl, ko, ru). I can’t guarantee the quality since I don’t speak these languages, so I won’t officially mark them as supported—but I decided to keep them anyway, just in case. Please keep in mind there’s no quality assurance.
