About Sidyq

Sidyq is a turn-based tactical RPG where you compose and optimize a team of unique creatures, each offering different strategic possibilities.

Every battle is a true test of planning and decision-making: placement, action order, and the use of abilities can turn the tide of a fight.

The main campaign serves as the story thread of your adventure, gradually introducing new biomes and opponents. It allows you to expand your collection and discover new combinations to build the team that suits your playstyle best.

Each campaign map is fixed, making it easier to learn the mechanics and anticipate the strategies needed in battles.

Between each stage, you can train, experiment with different team compositions, and refine your builds before continuing your progression.

Battles take place on a dynamic grid, where each unit can freely use its action and movement points.

The variety of maps, arena sizes, and team compositions allows for multiple playstyles:

  • Aggressive approaches or “hit & run”
  • Defensive formations, focused on resilience and control
  • Support or synergy-based strategies

This flexibility ensures every encounter is unique and encourages experimentation.

Beyond the campaign, Sidyq offers randomly generated farming zones, where diverse layouts and enemies stimulate creativity and tactical thinking.

Each battle presents a unique challenge, and activating curses can increase the rewards earned at the end of combat.

These zones are ideal for testing new strategies and compositions, preparing you for the most demanding encounters.

Bosses are the high-level content of Sidyq, representing the ultimate test of your tactical skills.

As difficulty increases, their mechanics become more complex: removable invulnerability, additional spells, multiple health bars, and progressive buffs.

These fights require analysis, anticipation, and planning, delivering an intense and rewarding strategic experience.

Unlike farming zones, boss maps are fixed, allowing you to study their patterns, refine your strategies, and aim for a perfect victory.

Each triumph at a higher difficulty level brings a tangible and rewarding sense of progression, celebrating your skill and mastery.

The laboratory is the hub of your experimentation and progression.

Here, you can fuse creatures, transform ingredients, and improve the quality of your monsters and relics.

Every action requires resources, gold, and tactical choices: sacrifice an element to invest in a promising monster, or multiply fusions.

The laboratory connects all game mechanics — farming, collection, and optimization — and allows you to progress even outside of combat.

Sidyq offers many mechanics to enrich the experience and diversify your progression:

  • Daily and weekly quests: earn rewards by completing regular objectives and staying consistent.
  • Black Market: obtain rare relics and creatures without farming, through a daily rotating selection.
  • Arena and leaderboards: face other players’ team compositions (offline) and try to reach the top in various categories for weekly rewards.
  • Customization: change the appearance of your profile and creatures to make your team truly your own.

Sidyq delivers the deep tactical experience of major RPGs, while giving you the freedom to progress at your own pace and make your own choices.

With a system where each unit can freely use its action and movement points, you can devise bold and surprising strategies.

Even battles that seem impossible can be turned around through careful planning and anticipation, fully rewarding skill and creativity.

Whether you enjoy analyzing complex mechanics or perfecting your team compositions, Sidyq values ingenuity, experimentation, and tactical mastery.

Sidyq is currently in beta and continues to evolve thanks to player feedback.

Each update aims to improve balance, enrich existing mechanics, and introduce new challenges to maintain tactical depth and replayability.

Looking ahead, you can expect:

  • Expansion of the campaign with Acts II and III, bringing the total to 24 chapters and extending the main story and progression.
  • New challenges and curses, along with content that enhances replayability and tests team strategies.
  • Special game modes that allow you to break from the standard experience and refresh gameplay.
  • Potential player interaction features, explored to enrich the game’s dynamics.

The goal remains to build a game that rewards mastery, experimentation, and progression, while staying open to community feedback.
