The Cascadier

Inspired by games like Balatro, Tetris Effect, Slay the Spire and Vampire Survivors, we want to create a simple and fun coin cascade arcade experience using elemental empowered abilities to manipulate the machinery in all sorts of wonderful ways, and add a narrative which players can choose to engage with as they play if they wish or just focus on the core simple gameplay.

Fortuna, the Goddess of Luck and Fortune has entered the Enchanted Arcade to push her gambit. She has developed something of a conscience around the impact that she has had on the world, so she has built these machines to try to develop a pure form of joy and euphoria in an attempt to sate her hunger and release humanity from the blight of gambling once and for all.

Beckoned into the arcade by The Custodian, you are offered a handful of coins to play the machines and learn more about how Fortuna came to become a god, but you might find as you play that there are other forces inside the Enchanted Arcade too.

Built by a small team of contributors, we are working on our visual concept and vertical slice demo right now. We plan to present the demo in the coming months, after opening the Kickstarter.
