The Cloud Bazaar

The Cloud Bazaar, by Raft Digital Therapeutics and founding partner Biogen Canada, is an interactive therapeutic game for players with pediatric spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). This award-winning platform was developed in close collaboration with members of the SMA community to optimize motion capture through machine learning algorithms.

Story
Players are on a mission to stop the floating city of The Cloud Bazaar from falling into the ocean. The sky pirates are threatening to steal the city’s only way to stay afloat, and it must be protected to save the city. To do this, players must perform a series of guided therapeutic exercises to progress through various levels of the game.

Gameplay
Equipped with motion capture technology, the game tracks and responds to movements through the players webcam as they navigate increasingly difficult levels. Each level has a leaderboard so players can challenge their friends and family. Player feedback is collected throughout the game to make the next adventure more immersive and engaging.
