The Gambit Lost to Time

"The Gambit Lost to Time" is a Tactical Roguelite RPG where you assume the role of Mia, a mysterious time-travelling advisor seeking to reunite a continent ravaged by wars. Lead heroes and troops to war, turning the tides of battle with time-based spells, allowing you to formulate strategies only possible with it.

Tactical Roguelite RPG

• Lead mighty heroes to battle, each with their own unique skills and traits
• Recruit additional troops during battles to assist the heroes
• Strategize around different weapon types, skills and unit types, creating triangle scenarios where one unit is suitable for one scenario, but not the other
• Choose the right leader amongst your heroes before each battle, whose bonuses may affect the entire team
• The battles you can select are randomized (although the major and climactic battles are not), making sure no single run is the same

Time Spells

Some of your time-travelling powers include, but not limited to:

• Move friends and foes alike to where they were in a previous turn
• Refreshes an ally's spirit to make them act twice in a turn
• Freeze your foes in time, making them skip their next turn

Where it All Starts

One incident leading to another, and the continent of Unornia becomes embroiled by yet another war. As a new generation of rulers and retainers emerge, choose one of the four warring factions, each providing their own play styles, heroes and troops.

Prepare for Battle

As they say - slow and steady wins the race. Being proactive with the right preparation reduces the need for reactive strategies. Build up your heroes to be unstoppable juggernauts, outfit your troops to support them in tandem, with a strong economy and logistical prowess making it all possible.

• Customize your heroes with more than 50 skills divided into 3 separate slots
• Build up your Kingdom's Town between battles to recruit stronger units, and to provide the funds and supplies for them
• Purchase additional artifacts to enhance your units

In Another Timeline

If it's not possible to fulfill your goals in a single timeline, there's always another chance to do so thanks to your time-travelling powers. Take everything you learnt before, and come back stronger.
