The Node is Untested on macOS

Untested

About The Node

The Node is not your typical game. It’s not a finished product, nor a flashy commercial project. It’s a personal sandbox, a digital journal, a learning playground—where every single asset, every line of logic, every level you play is a step forward in my journey as a game developer.

This project is me—my progress, my experiments, my failures and breakthroughs—all made in Unreal Engine using the famous visual scripting system known as "nodes." These nodes are more than just tools—they are the building blocks of this entire experience, the perfect metaphor for the ever-growing web of knowledge I’m trying to master.

You’ll play through various levels. The first one? Maybe it’s just a cube standing on a platform. The last? Could be a full gameplay system I never imagined building when I first started. Each level represents who I was at a particular time, what I knew, what I was discovering—and you, the player, get to witness that growth, step by step.

The Node is a playable diary. A living archive. A game that evolves with me—not under the weight of deadlines or marketing expectations, but in the honest light of personal progress. Nothing is perfect, everything is a work in progress, but every single piece is genuine.

This isn’t a final product. This isn’t a promise. It’s a journey. And you’re welcome to ride along from the very beginning.

And for those who made it to the end: if you genuinely want to see this project evolve, test it, help shape it and improve it with me, feel free to use the game’s Steam forum to share your thoughts, suggestions, and ideas. More than bug reports, it’s your creative feedback that can inspire and motivate me to push forward.
