Those Far Stars

Those Far Stars is a space-sim with traditional roguelike characteristics like grid-based, turn-based combat and procedural content.

It is an ambitious project with lots of content that I am working on.

• A galaxy with 250 stars.
• Every star has 1-3 planets to scan or land on and trade.
• Planets have different kind of atmospheres, landscapes, climate etc.
• Every civilized planet has a different kind of economy like industrial, agricultural or tourism.
• There is economy and trade within human faction planets.
• There is a pirate faction that attacks trading ships.
• Your ship has a modular upgrade system with thrusters, ftl drive, shields etc.
• There are artifacts of a long lost civilization which players can equip to their ship.
• Planets can be scanned and scanned data can be sold.

• The pilot will be able to walk on the planets and derelicts.
• Fuel extraction from stars and gas giants.
• Mysterious alien civilizations.
• Reputation system.
• Asteroid mining.
