About Twin Gods
Twin Gods is a story-driven JRPG. Join Taliph the angry teenager, Fen the town bully, Weirden the... weird, Frau the suddenly-appearing, and a really confused turtle as they navigate a dying world.

Backstory
In the present-day ruins of a city, a friendly sort shares a tale with a passing adventurer.
In the myth of the Twin Gods there exists a teenager named Taliph, the worst spellcaster in town. He is mocked by almost everyone for looking for his missing father, presumed dead, inside barrels. None of them can explain the appearance of a "Barrel Dimension".
Taliph also dreams of a god named Annihilus as it slowly destroys everything. Amidst the dying world, all Taliph wants to do is prove his father is not dead. All his companions want to do is find some place comfortable.
Join Taliph and his friends as they're all thrust into battle with Annihilus. Shape the world as it ends. Perhaps something new will come out the other side.
Read between the lines. Everyone is hiding something.

Game Engine
The Twin Gods was not made with any existing game engine! Hauntlet was designed for ease of modding. All game data files are unpacked and in plain text.

Hauntlet uses three major file types:
- XML is used for most data files.
- TBLang, an in-house language designed for readability, is used for enemy AI.
- Lua is used for cinematics, minigames, and quests
